i just added some photos of a couple installation pieces.
"for Mary"
these are sumac leaves harvested in arkansas last fall. i pressed them for 3 months then sprayed them with a clear coat sealer. (private collection)
"shiny bubbles"
these copper wires were found along with the wires from "lies, lies, lies"
i shaped and hammered them out then grinded texture in the fronts to shine in the light.
the shadows are always fun with these pieces.

this was my submission to the austin art boards call, unfortunatly it wasnt picked.
i thought about calling to see how much it would cost to rent a billboard though...
bypass was the name of the horse i rode during a day long trip thru the jungle mountains and beach in costa rica. his name was fitting because he would go his own way a lot. you have to go!

also from the recent shoot.
i thought about bees as i was working on this, i dont know why...
although there are many theories as to why the bees are dying, we still dont know why for sure.
i think humans are suffering from this as well.
